5 little details that will make a BIG difference at your next event 

 Whether you’re hosting a corporate retreat, conference or meeting, guest attendees always appreciate when there’s a little something extra in it for them that makes the event more memorable and fun! 

 Below we’re breaking down some small details that could have a BIG impact on your guests overall experience. 

 1.    Welcome Committee – Grab your best, brightest and friendliest volunteer(s) or staff member(s) to assist in welcoming guests to your event. These should be the outgoing members of your team who are able to assist with any event related questions or directions all while giving your guests a warm welcome and thanking them for being there! Just a simple “we’re glad you’re here & thanks for coming” goes a long way.

2.    Fun Signage or Décor – Everybody likes a pop of color or a design element that’s not considered traditional. If you’re able, spend a little extra of that budget by making the place your own. 

3.    Giveaways and/or Sweet treats for your guests to enjoy – because who doesn’t like free things and tasty afternoon cake pops or trail mix? No one, that’s who! 

4.    Branded or personalized supplies – if your budget allows, brand anything from napkins to cups. Guests also love having personalized journals/notepads, pens and water bottles to utilize throughout the event. 

5.    Don’t just use social media, integrate it into your event – Set a hashtag and encourage your guests to use it. Make sure to mention it throughout the evening and include it on your signage. It’s a great way to look back on photos from everyone!
